My lab is working on Regeneromics, focusing on developing new treatment for unmet medical needs. The formost project is the IL-1Ra which is developed as a new protector of stem/progenitor cells. If it is used before chemotherapy, it effectively reduced the incidence and severity of neutropenia and diarrhea induced by cancer chemotherapy. The drug candidate will be subject to human test soon. The company I founded is called General Regeneratives Limited (GR). GR is working with the scientists in my lab to codevelop the bioth drugs supported by venture capitals and govermant funds. Other projects include regeneration of cartilage and treatment of acute pancreatitis.
